THE HILL COUNTRY FILM FESTIVAL

celebrates three days of independent film and filmmakers in the heart of the Texas Hill County, Fredericksburg. HCFF is dedicated to bringing independent film to this vibrant town, as a celebration of the city’s artistic spirit and hospitality. With its authentic culture, picturesque setting and welcoming spirit, Fredericksburg is the ideal setting for cultivating the art of independent film and establishing a world-class 'destination' film festival.

HCFF kicked off its inaugural year in 2010 with filmgoers, actors, directors, and producers screening over 40 films. Moviegoers were captivated by the uniqueness and authenticity of the films screened while filmmakers and guests fell in love with Fredericksburg’s charm. In addition to quality films and the perfect setting, the festival teams’ collective experience as producers, writers, directors, editors and promoters strongly anchor the Hill Country Film Festival as a premier film festival.
