Founded in 1846, Fredericksburg, Texas celebrates 175 years in 2021. Year-long celebratory events will take place May 2021 to May 2022 as Fredericksburg was founded on May 8, 1846, and the peace treaty with the Penateka Comanche was signed on May 9, 1847.
