The Hill Country Film Festival accepts shorts (recommended <30 minutes) and feature films (recommended between 90 – 120 minutes). Submit films in the following categories: narrative (feature and short), documentary (feature and short) and student short films. 

Submissions are closed and will re-open in the fall of 2021.

The Hill Country Film Festival recognizes exceptional filmmaking in ten categories.






*Cash prizes will be given to winners of the festival’s Cinema Dulce – Best of Fest ($1,500) and Best Texas Film ($1,000) awards sponsored by Texas’ premier boutique winery Pedernales Cellars.
