HOW TO FEST

Join us in Fredericksburg for the 14th annual Hill Country Film Festival, June 1 - 4, 2023. Film screenings will take place at the Nimitz Ballroom at the National Museum of the Pacific War and at the Great Hall at Hoffman Haus.

A limited number of individual tickets will be available for the narrative and documentary feature films. 

Individual tickets to ALL screenings will be sold at the door prior to each screening and based on availability.

Parking is available along San Antonio Street. If you are not staying at Hoffman Haus, please do not park in the gravel lots.

No outside food or drink. Concessions will be available for purchase.

NIMITZ BALLROOM AT THE ADMIRAL NIMITZ GALLERY

340 E. Main Street

The Nimitz Historic Ballroom is located in the Admiral Nimitz Gallery which is part of the National Museum of the Pacific War. 

Parking can be found at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center located at 302 E. Austin Street (a four minute walk from the Admiral Nimitz Gallery). Street parking is available on Austin Street and Main Street.

By purchasing the All Access Badge(s) to the 14th Annual Hill Country Film Festival, attendees/participants agree to:

  • The 2023 COVID-19 waiver/release.

  • Follow the Participant Terms and Conditions 

PARTICIPANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Credentials/Refund Policy

All Access Badges are non-transferable and are labeled with the attendee's name. When purchasing more than one badge, names will be assigned to each badge at pick-up. 

All Access badges are non-refundable however, for the 2023 festival, should a participant answer yes to any of the following questions prior to or during the festival and be unable to attend, a partial refund will be considered:


> Have you experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue 

  • Muscle or body aches 

  • New loss of taste or smell 

  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

> Have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or any person who has symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within 14 days of the festival?


> Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19?


> Are you currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?

 

Seating

Although All Access Badge holders will receive priority access to the venue, seating is NOT guaranteed. All Access Badge holders are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the screening to queue for seating. Priority seating will follow this order: All Access Badge holders followed by individual tickets holders. All Access Badge holders who arrive after the queue has been seated are not guaranteed a seat.​

Photography/Videography

Photographers and/or film crews will operate at all HCFF events. Photographs/film may be used for public relations and in marketing materials by the Hill Country Film Society and Festival.

Right to Revoke Credentials

The Hill Country Film Society is committed to allowing guests and filmmakers to experience the Hill Country Film Festival free of harassment, discrimination, sexism and threatening or disrespectful behavior. We reserve the right to revoke, without notice or refund, credentials or access to festival events and venues at any time.
