Join us in Fredericksburg for the 12th annual Hill Country Film Festival, July 29 - August 1, 2021. Film screenings will take place at the Fredericksburg High School Auditorium and at the Great Hall at Hoffman Haus.

IMPORTANT FEST INFO

The health and well-being of our filmmakers, guests, volunteers and staff are paramount. As part of our on-going commitment to you, HCFF has implemented a COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan to include temperature checks prior to admittance, face coverings and social distancing as well as regular sanitizing of event venues. 
 

If you are unable or unwilling to follow the 2021 Health and Safety Plan, we kindly ask that you wait to join us at HCFF 2022.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS
$10 | at the door

Due to limited seating at the 2021 festival, individual/walk-up tickets will only be available 
for screenings at the Fredericksburg High School Auditorium. 

Preferred payment is credit card.

BADGE PICK-UP

Please bring the email ticket confirmation (via smart phone or hard copy) to exchange for your badge.

  • Thursday, July 29 | 11 am to 5 pm*

  • Friday and Saturday, July 30 -31 | 9 am to 7pm

 

*if arriving after 5pm on Thursday, you can pick up your badge at the Filmmaker Welcome Party at La Bergerie (312 E. Austin St) between 5 pm and 6:30 pm or at the Marktplatz from 7 pm to
9 pm (100 W. Main St.) during the panel or screening

Parking is available along San Antonio Street. If you are not staying at Hoffman Haus, please do not park in the gravel lots.

No outside food or drink. Concessions will be available for purchase.

 

Walk-up tickets are not available at this venue.

SCREENING VENUE
FREDERICKSBURG HS
AUDITORIUM

1115 S. Milam Street

The FHS auditorium is accessible from S. Milam (across from the baseball field), south of the main entrance of the campus.

Parking is available in the lots off of S. Milam and at the corner of S. Milam and N. Llano.

 

Food or drink is not permitted in the theater. 

Walk-up tickets will be sold prior to each screening.

By purchasing the All Access Badge(s) to the 12th Annual Hill Country Film Festival, attendees/participants agree to follow:

  • The 2021 COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan 

  • The Participant Terms and Conditions 

And, by purchasing All Access badges to the 12th Annual Hill Country Film Festival, attendees/participants agree to this waiver/release. 

The following Health and Safety Plan is an evolving document. HCFF will monitor and revaluate this plan as needed. Attendees will receive an email one week prior to the festival with the most current Health and Safety Plan. 

2021 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN

Face Coverings

  • Guests are encouraged to wear a mask/face covering while inside event venues and when unable to social distance

 

Social Distancing

Indoor Venues

  • HCFF will set up seating to allow for social distancing (between 3 and 6 feet)

  • HCFF asks that guests be respectful of other's space; sitting with others outside of their household or family pod is discouraged

  • One-way directional signage will be set up for guests to enter and exit

Outdoor Venues

  • We ask guests/participants to be cognizant of social distancing with other guests outside of their household or family pod

  • When you are unable to socially distance yourself from others, a face covering/mask is recommended (ie, going to the restroom, etc.)

Messaging/Signs

  • Guests will receive an email with a COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire prior to the festival

  • Festival signage and announcements will inform guests of ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (masks, handwashing, social distancing, etc.)

 

Cleaning and Disinfecting

  • Indoor event venues will be sanitized regularly (at the end of each screening) during the festival

  • HCFF will also provide hand sanitizer and masks for guests

PARTICIPANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Credentials/Refund Policy

All Access Badges are non-transferable and are labeled with the attendee's name. When purchasing more than one badge, names will be assigned to each badge at pick-up. 

All Access badges are non-refundable however, for the 2021 festival, should a participant answer yes to any of the following questions prior to or during the festival and be unable to attend, a partial refund will be considered:


> Have you experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue 

  • Muscle or body aches 

  • New loss of taste or smell 

  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

> Have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or any person who has symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within 14 days of the festival?


> Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19?


> Are you currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?

 

Seating

Although All Access Badge holders will receive priority access to the venue, seating is NOT guaranteed. All Access Badge holders are encouraged to arrive at least10 minutes prior to the screening to queue for seating. Priority seating will follow this order: All Access Badge holders followed by individual tickets holders. All Access Badge holders who arrive after the queue has been seated are not guaranteed a seat.​

Photography/Videography

Photographers and/or film crews will operate at all HCFF events. Photographs/film may be used for public relations and in marketing materials by the Hill Country Film Society and Festival.

Right to Revoke Credentials

The Hill Country Film Society is committed to allowing guests and filmmakers to experience the Hill Country Film Festival free of harassment, discrimination, sexism and threatening or disrespectful behavior. We reserve the right to revoke, without notice or refund, credentials or access to festival events and venues at any time.
