Join us in Fredericksburg for the 12th annual Hill Country Film Festival, July 29 - August 1, 2021. Film screenings will take place at the Fredericksburg High School Auditorium and at the Hoffman Haus Great Hall.

The health and well-being of our filmmakers, guests, volunteers and staff are paramount. As part of our on-going commitment to you, HCFF has implemented a COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan to include temperature checks prior to admittance, face coverings and social distancing as well as regular sanitizing of event venues.
If you are unable or unwilling to follow the 2021 Health and Safety Plan, we kindly ask that you wait to join us at HCFF 2022.

Due to limited seating at the 2021 festival, individual tickets may not be sold. We will do our best to safely accommodate as many guests as possible and will update individual ticketing information here.

By purchasing the All Access Badge(s) to the 12th Annual Hill Country Film Festival, attendees/participants agree to follow:

And, by purchasing All Access badges to the 12th Annual Hill Country Film Festival, attendees/participants agree to this waiver/release.
The following Health and Safety Plan is an evolving document. HCFF will monitor and revaluate this plan as needed. Attendees will receive an email one week prior to the festival with the most current Health and Safety Plan.
If an attendee (All Access Badge holder, volunteer, filmmaker or any guest) of the 2021 Hill Country Film Festival fails to follow the terms and conditions, including the Health and Safety Plan, it is at the sole discretion of HCFF to cancel, revoke, or refuse all transactions with that individual, without refund.
2021 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN
Temperature scans will be required for admittance to each screening
Guests will be required to wear a mask/face covering while inside event venues
HCFF will create seating pods of two chairs, with 6 feet distance between each seating pod; guests sitting with others outside of their household or family pod is discouraged
Seating will be limited
One-way directional signage will be set up for guests to enter and exit
Queue lines – HCFF will direct guests to line up six feet apart (each seating pod may stand together) prior to entry
HCFF staff and each outdoor event venue will determine the best way to implement social distancing and face covering procedures
We ask guests/participants to be cognizant of the social distancing with other guests outside of their household or family pod
When you are unable to socially distance yourself from others, a face covering/mask is required (ie, going to the restroom, etc.)
Guests will receive an email with a COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire prior to the festival
At badge pick up and each screening venue, we will post signs promoting COVID protections (masks, handwashing, social distancing, etc.), as well as make announcements (either verbally or on video) prior to each screening
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Seating will be cleaned at the beginning, mid-point and end of day with disinfectant spray
High touch surfaces (door knobs, microphones, etc.) will be cleaned prior to each film screening and at end of day
HCFF will also provide hand sanitizer and masks for guests
PARTICIPANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Badge Pick Up
Location and pickup dates/times will be announced by June 29, 2021.
Please bring the email ticket confirmation (via smart phone or hard copy) to exchange for your badge.
All Access Badges are non-transferable and are labeled with the attendee's name. When purchasing more than one badge, names will be assigned to each badge at pick-up.
All Access badges are non-refundable however, for the 2021 festival, should a participant answer yes to any of the following questions prior to or during the festival and be unable to attend, a partial refund will be considered:
> Do you have any of the following symptoms:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
> Have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or any person who has symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within 14 days of the festival?
> Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19?
> Are you currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?
Although All Access Badge holders will receive priority access to the venue, seating is NOT guaranteed. All Access Badge holders are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the screening to queue for seating. Priority seating will follow this order: All Access Badge holders followed by individual tickets holders. All Access Badge holders who arrive after the queue has been seated are not guaranteed a seat.
Photographers and/or film crews will operate at all HCFF events. Photographs/film may be used for public relations and in marketing materials by the Hill Country Film Society and Festival.
Right to Revoke Credentials
The Hill Country Film Society is committed to allowing guests and filmmakers to experience the Hill Country Film Festival free of harassment, discrimination, sexism and threatening or disrespectful behavior. We reserve the right to revoke, without notice or refund, credentials or access to festival events and venues at any time.
